Photo of the Day
This is in honor of Tuesday night’s class, and our new interpretation of what “psychomotor” means. The axe is THE axe. It is enshrined in the beautiful Timberline hotel, on Mt. Hood in Oregon. Timberline served as the inspiration- and writing location- for Stephen King’s “The Shining.” It’s up a lonely road, but only a few hours from Portland. The interior, on the other hand, was stolen from the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite, which gives visits an eerie quality if you know the movie well. Like the elevator. Timberline is also the country’s only all year open ski facility. That’s right. Go ski in summer here. It’s sweet.
